Privacy Policy

Our personal data privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy") applies to all information that "Soțchi & Partners" Law Firm may obtain about the User during the use of the website, its features, software, and products of "Soțchi & Partners" Law Firm (hereinafter referred to as the "Services"). Use of the Services constitutes the User's unconditional acceptance of this Policy and of the terms of processing of their personal data specified herein; in case of disagreement with these terms, the User must refrain from using the Services.

The User undertakes not to post or transmit through the Website any materials that include:

• a) Personal information provided by the User about themselves during registration (account creation) or in the process of using the Services, including the User's personal data. Information required for the provision of the Services is specifically marked. The User provides other information at their own discretion.
• b) Data automatically transmitted to the services during their use through the software installed on the User's device, including the IP address, information about cookies, information about the User's browser, access time, and the address of the requested page.
• c) Other information about the User where its collection and/or provision is stipulated in the regulatory documents of certain separate Services.

"Soțchi & Partners" Law Firm collects and retains only the personal data necessary for the provision and delivery of the Services in accordance with the agreements and contracts concluded with the User. The User's personal information may be used for the following purposes:

• a) Identification of the party within the framework of agreements and contracts with "Soțchi & Partners" Law Firm.
• b) Provision of personalized Services to the User.
• c) Communication with the User, including sending notifications, requests, and information related to the provision of the Services.
• d) Improvement of the quality of the Services.
• e) Targeting of advertising materials.
• f) Conducting statistical or other research based on anonymized data.

The confidentiality of the User's personal data is maintained, except in cases where the User voluntarily discloses information about themselves for open access to an unlimited number of persons.

"Soțchi & Partners" Law Firm may disclose the User's personal data to third parties under certain circumstances, including with the User's consent, in connection with the use of a specific Service, in accordance with applicable legislation, or in specific cases of transfer related to the sale or transfer of the business.

In the process of processing Users' personal data, "Soțchi & Partners" Law Firm complies with the provisions of the Law of the Republic of Moldova on personal data protection.

"Soțchi & Partners" Law Firm implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the User's personal data against unauthorized or accidental access, deletion, modification, blocking, copying, disclosure, or other unlawful actions by third parties.

"Soțchi & Partners" Law Firm reserves the right to make changes to the Privacy Policy, and any amendments will be published on the Website. The new version of the Policy shall enter into force on the date of publication, unless otherwise provided therein.

This Policy and the relations between the User and "Soțchi & Partners" Law Firm, in connection with the application of the Privacy Policy shall be governed by the legislation of Republic of Moldova.

Requests sent through the contact form

When you send us a request through the form on this website, we process the data you enter: your name, company, phone number, email address, area of law and message. We use them only to answer you and discuss your request. The basis is the consent you give by ticking the box in the form.

Together with the request we keep, without identifying you: the page you sent it from, the language, the kind of device (phone, tablet or computer) and how you reached the website (for example Google search or an advert, including the marks of the link). We do not keep your IP address.

The request is stored in a database hosted by Supabase in its Frankfurt data centre (European Union). It can be seen by the firm's lawyers who administer the website and by the website's technical administrator. The firm receives in Telegram only a notice with the request's number, without your data.

The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that the request is not sent by a robot.

Your contact details and message are deleted automatically 12 months after the request is received; requests marked as spam are deleted after one month. You may at any time ask to see, correct or delete your data by writing to us or calling us.

Visit statistics

The website counts visits without cookies and without identifying you: how many pages were opened, where visitors came from (search, an advert, another website), the kind of device, how long a page stayed on screen (in steps, such as «1–3 minutes») and how many opened or sent the form. Only daily totals are kept, without IP addresses. To limit abuse, the IP address is briefly turned into a code that cannot be reversed and is deleted within a day.

Since 14 October 2026 two more things are counted: the country a visit began from, which the website's host determines from the IP address (only the country's code is kept, never the address), and whether the first page of a visit saw a tap, a key press, a scroll of the mouse wheel or a mouse movement, which shows how many visits were made by people rather than programs. What exactly you tapped or typed is not recorded.

If you arrived through a Google advert, the browser tab keeps a mark with no data about you, so that the same address opened again is not counted as a new click. The mark disappears when the tab is closed.

We also use Vercel Analytics, which does not use cookies and collects only aggregated data.

Cookies

Cookies the website cannot work without are always on:

• a) NEXT_LOCALE — remembers the language you selected (Romanian, English or Russian).
• b) sp_consent — remembers your cookie choice for 6 months.
• c) Authentication cookies — set only after logging into the administration panel; public visitors do not receive them.

Google Analytics (the _ga cookies) starts only if you press «Accept» in the cookie banner. We use it for statistics only: Google's advertising features are switched off. You can change your choice at any time through the «Cookie settings» link at the bottom of the website; if you refuse, the Google Analytics cookies are deleted.

If you allowed statistics, the browser tab also remembers how you reached the website, so that a request sent from another page shows the same source. This note disappears when the tab is closed.

The Google map on the contacts page loads by itself if you pressed «Accept» in the cookie banner, and otherwise only when you press «Show the map»; from then on Google may set its own cookies, under Google's privacy policy.

You can also delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.
